Overview
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager / Park Manager — either an accomplished individual or a Management Couple — to join a progressive, family-owned Holiday and Independent Living Group.
Located in the heart of the historic Victorian goldfields and just 10 minutes from Bendigo, this beautifully presented park brings together holidaymakers, day visitors and independent living residents in a genuinely welcoming, community-focused environment.
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will play a hands-on leadership role in ensuring both guests and homeowners enjoy an exceptional experience — whether they’re staying for a night or calling the park home.
About the role
You will have overall responsibility for the smooth, successful operation of the park, with a strong focus on customer experience, presentation and team leadership. Your key areas of responsibility will include:
- Customer experience — creating a warm, well-run and welcoming environment
- Sales support — working collaboratively with the home sales team and showing prospective homeowners through the community
- Accommodation, grounds & facilities — maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and amenity
- Financial performance — managing budgets and operational outcomes
- Administration & compliance
- Staff leadership — overseeing guest experience officers, grounds and maintenance staff, housekeepers and leisure attendants
- Asset & maintenance management — including preventative maintenance across the park
About you:
To be successful in this role you will need to be a confident and compassionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment. You will bring to the role a strong operational background, ideally in the Tourist Park industry, and a passion for creating memorable experiences for guests and residents alike.
You will have:
- Proven experience in operations or park management
- Strong financial acumen and budget management skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- A hands-on, solutions-focused approach
- A genuine passion for customer service and team development
