Breakaway Twin Rivers Caravan Park, located just 90 minutes from Melbourne and 6km from the historic township of Alexandra, offers cabins, powered and unpowered sites and a loyal community of annual guests.
About the role
This is a permanent, live-on-site management opportunity with overall responsibility for the smooth operation of the park, ensuring it maintains its position as a leading destination within Victoria. The role is ideally suited to a couple, with one person taking the lead in office administration, reservations and guest services, while the other focuses on grounds, maintenance, presentation and park facilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage all front office operations including reservations (RMS), guest services and administration
- Oversee daily financial administration, cash handling and reporting
- Lead and support a small team, including rostering and staff supervision
- Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of the park and its facilities
- Coordinate grounds, gardens, repairs and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with WHS, park policies and relevant legislation
- Work with the owners to continually improve the guest experience and park operations.
About you
You’re a motivated management couple who enjoy meeting people, thrive in a hands-on environment, and are excited to create memorable holiday experiences for guests. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Previous experience managing a holiday park or similar accommodation business
- Strong administration and computer skills, including experience with RMS and Xero
- Practical maintenance, gardening and groundskeeping skills, with the ability to coordinate repairs and keep the park looking its best
- Staff supervision experience
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays
- Knowledge of Work Health & Safety requirements
- Pool maintenance experience
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks
- A positive, honest and proactive attitude, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
